Welcome to my website. I am Associate Professor of Marketing at the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. I study consumer behavior and am interested in people's intuitions about how the world works, or what is referred to as their lay theories. My research explores how accurate these lay theories are, how they affect people's decision making, and how they shape satisfaction after consumption. My interest in lay theories and post-consumption outcomes spans multiple substantive domains, including decision making, health, experiential consumption, effort inferences, and aesthetics.
